Don’t you love the Honda Crosstour? Do you ever find yourself wondering how they
could possibly improve it in the years to come?
Well, you’re in luck because the concept unveiled at the New York Auto Show is going to blow your
mind! This luxurious CUV is already one
of the most efficient offerings in its class, but Honda is taking things
one-step further, improving exterior styling and interior content.
One of the first things you’ll notice about the 2013
Crosstour’s new look is its athletic-looking front end. In addition to many noticeable exterior
revisions, you’ll notice the SUV-like stance they have given the new
Crosstour. It kind of says, “I’m functional
and sporty, but also sleek and stylish.”
Safety is always of the utmost importance to Honda, so the
new Crosstour is set to earn top scores in that department. Future Crosstour owners have the option of
equipping their new car with Honda’s Lane Departure Warning (LDW) and Forward
Collision Warning (FCW). Both of these
systems utilize a camera behind the windshield to detect cars moving out of
their lanes unexpectedly or if a potential collision will happen ahead of them. In addition, the 2013 Crosstour will be the
first line of Hondas to receive the LaneWatch blind-spot display, which uses a
camera system mounted on the passenger mirror for enhanced view of the roadway.
For all of you techies out there, you’ll be happy to know
that all of the 2013 Crosstours will come standard with automatic dimming
rearview mirrors, auto-on/off headlights, Bluetooth HandsFreeLink, and USB
audio interface. Other available features will include a hard-drive based
navigation system, Pandora Internet radio interface, XM satellite radio and an
SMS text-to-speech function.
I’m sure that was a lot for you to take in, and maybe you
just don’t want to wait until the Fall to test drive and own a new
Crosstour. In that case, drive on over
to Route 23 Honda now, to check out the 2012 Crosstour, which has really set the
bar high for its successor. Click here
