Family Car of the Year: 2012 Honda Pilot

In what seems like a championship year across the entire market for Honda, another vehicle in the fleet has won a very distinctive honor. The 2012 Honda Pilot has been named Cars.com's Family Car of the Year, continuing Honda's streak from the Honda Odyssey winning last year.

So what does Cars.com like about the 2012 Honda Pilot? Well for the first, and most important feature in a family vehicle, it's the spaciousness the Pilot offers. It comfortably fits eight people in three rows of seating. The second row of seats slides back and forth, allowing for more leg room for the second and third rows. The Pilot also has great cargo room with nooks all over the vehicle for everyday storage.

The new sleeker body design for 2012 Pilot also provides that soccer mom or dad with a great looking vehicle for the times they need to leave the kids at home. Also, the abundance of new technology that is now standard with most Honda's, such as blue tooth connectivity and audio streaming, only sweetens the deal.

When it comes to performance, the 2012 has the same interior workings as last years model, except with the always welcomed increase in fuel efficiency and higher level of drive quality. There is more control and less sway that you would expect in a larger SUV.

If all of those great features haven't sold you yet, this same 2012 Pilot also won the Cars.com's SUV Shootout, beating out competitors like the Ford Explorer and Toyota Highlander.

Come see for yourself why this great vehicle is being so highly praised. Route 23 Honda will guide you to the perfect Pilot, packed with everything you need. We also have a great offer going on right now for the 2012 Pilot which you can check out here www.route23hondaoffers.com.
